 Main Responsibilities
  • A member of the Asia Pacific Senior Leadership Team, responsible for providing strategic thinking and leadership to the overall Asia Pacific business.
  • Design and deliver the marketing budget and 5 years strategic plans and ensure effective implementation against approved company plans and budgets
  • To lead the overall marketing function for RCI APAC and integrate this with BD, affiliate, partner and operations to satisfy the needs of both member and affiliate segments as well as potential clients
  • Partner with management to drive marketing strategies that create mid to long term competitive advantage for RCI in the vacation ownership space, leading to increase market and wallet share of B2B and B2C clients across all product segments.
  • Partner with BD, Account Management and operations to build product models for B2C, B2B deals that lead to successful closure of business pipeline and enhance our fulfillment of existing business projects.
  • Support the APAC business development, account management and operations team in the sale of B2B, B2C projects that impact the regional P&L.
  • This role will provide strategic direction and management to effectively retain membership, increase member transaction propensity and revenues and support member education, activation and loyalty
  • Develop clear, consistent and effective strategies for marketing to effectively targeting the right target affiliates and members.
  • Support the regional business units with the planning and implementations of marketing strategic 
  • To provide strategic directions for marketing teams in driving best marketing practices, strategic projects where applicable to Asia Pacific market, with an aim to increase of market share 
  • Conceptualize, develop and implement new products for Asia Pacific
  • Support regional business units with the planning and implementation of projects as and when needed
  • Work with various departments on the implementation of new products
  • 7-10 years’ experience in marketing function, including 4-5 years of management or supervisory experience
  • A strong appreciation of cross-cultural environment is critical
  • Strong track record in environments marked by high-growth and high-flux, innovation in thinking and actions and the building of business in new sectors, whether by consumer/business groups or geographic scope.
  • Proven excellence in: business and deal marketing and management, internal and external communications, product innovation, development and implementation
  • Excellent financial management skills including budget management/forecasting
  • Results oriented approach to delivering quality outcomes
  • Strong ability to make decisions confidently and assertively and manage staff feedback effectively
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally for achievement of overall business objectives
  • Ability to lead, coach and mentor a team of diverse skilled staff
  • Must have been responsible for marketing budget
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically
