IT Manager – Wyndham Doha West Bay

The IT Manager will supervise the IT Department to ensure the quality and delivery of IT systems for both the hotel and its Guests. He/she should be fulfilled timely, within budget, and in accordance with Wyndham operating standards.
 
Job Description
  • Foresees, identifies and resolves system(s)' performance problems;
  • Ensures technology assets are secure and well-maintained as per Wyndham Policies.
  • Installs, monitors, and maintains telecommunications equipment including cabling and providing technical guidance as needed;
  • Creates and maintains secure server environment. Performs server backups and routine/non-routine preventative maintenance.
  • Responsible for property compliance with appropriate Policy and Information Security Manual.
  • Conducts periodic inventories of applications and hardware; prepares reports and budget for property management.
  • Ensure consistently strong operational support for all internal hotel IT systems and users, minimizing any system outages.
  • Supervise the IT Department on a daily basis.
  • Maintain excellent product knowledge and apply it to deliver full system benefits.
  • Identify current and future system needs and provide solutions for the identified needs.
  • Build strong internal working relationships with all hotel Departments.
  • Keeps all systems, networks, hardware and software properly documented at all times.
  • Possesses a basic understanding of the financial dynamics property operations and can apply knowledge/judgment to assist management in achieving technology-related goals;
  • Reviews operating statements; researches and resolves discrepancies in technology charges.
  • Handle, efficiently and effectively, IT issues that arise in the property.
  • Identify current and future system needs and provide solutions for the identified needs.
  • Be able to work in a multicultural team.
  • Be in charge of the department budget.

Qualifications
Minimum requirements
 
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role in a 5* hotel.
• You should have a degree within the information technology field.
• Superior analytical skills required.
