Revenue Manager – Wyndham Doha West Bay

The Revenue Manager is responsible for both strategic and tactical initiatives related to revenue maximization. He or She will have the opportunity to set strategic direction, determine pricing, create promotions, and explore new distribution opportunities.
Main Tasks
  • Manage and maintain group and transient inventory controls.
  • Develop, monitor, and adjust sales and pricing strategies.
  • Develop, Manage and Direct the Reservations team to achieve established revenue and rate goals and objectives.
  • Maximize hotel room revenues through development and maintenance of standard operating procedures that will enable analysis of real-time data from managed properties.
  • Provide critical analysis of strategies, room's statistics and demand factors.
  • Conduct competitive and demand analysis.
  • In collaboration with the Director of Sales and the Marketing Manager to build business strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work well with co-workers and the public.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills are a must.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize work.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel.
  • Ensure that all rooms’ statistics reports, including the financial statement, and any other related reports are accurate and consistent according to the Wyndham procedures and policies.
  • Attend Weekly Sales and Marketing Meeting to maintain communication of strategies and need periods.
  • Perform revenue management service for a select group of hotels. 
  • Manage all aspects of rate & inventory management as outlined in the services contract.  
  • Supervise and guide all reservations team members to perform their duties effectively with a positive sales attitude that results in maximization of revenues. Conduct regular trainings and offer quantitative information to the team.
  • Supervise any new software installations that will reduce any risks and man power of reservation.

Minimum Experience
  • Previous experience as a Revenue Manager in the Middle East in a 5* hotel.
  • Computer Literacy , Proficient in Opera User
  • Experience in managing the Reservations Department.
  • Candidate must be able to effectively communicate ideas in verbal and written presentations.
