The Senior Director, Integrated Media is a veteran marketer skilled at developing digital and media strategies to achieve and over deliver on business goals.  This position is responsible for delivering strategic marketing vision to execute high-impact digital media campaigns across all channels that generate revenue and drive awareness, consideration and purchase.   This collaborative, passionate leader is an integral member of the Brand Marketing organization and will be a key decision maker in how we go to market.
 
This leadership position reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Global Brands, working closely with each of the brand segment leaders, Wyndham Rewards marketing leaders and the Digital Commerce teams.  We are looking for a top in-house or agency digital media expert to manage the PPC channel for our entire portfolio of brands.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Lead the Integrated Media team and drive overall media strategy; Develop and lead multi-channel paid marketing strategy to exceed annual revenue target through testing and optimization
  • Lead integrated media agency relationship; Manage channel and partner relationships
  • Work with Brand Marketing team to develop a cohesive media strategy across traditional and digital marketing channels
  • Support and drive forward expansion of the coop marketing programs
  • SME for Paid Media by educating and updating the organization on the latest results and trends
  • Responsible for vendor selection and management (including contract negotiations) and ensuring vendors/partners are accountable for delivering results
  • Regularly communicate with senior leadership on key business strategy including preparing and delivering business plans with evidence-based recommendations that will drive the business forward
  • Revise forecasts, resource allocation and campaign strategies based on ebb and flow of business; Optimize marketing ROI
  • Develop the Paid Media Center of Excellence
  • Stay abreast of trends across search, affiliate, display, video, social and mobile advertising and educate internal teams, as necessary
  • Develop strategy for Display efforts with large OTA partner and work with team to effectively execute these campaigns
  • Manage and mentor the Paid Media team including hiring, growing and retaining top talent; Develop team by providing regular coaching and mentoring to direct reports as well as learning opportunities via internal and external resources
  • Grow and nurture cross-functional relationships to effectively communicate, collaborate and execute on projects/campaigns/goals

 

Qualifications

Experience/Education/Certificates

 

  • 10+ years of digital marketing and media experience (search, meta, or display); hospitality experience preferred
  • College degree is required; MBA preferred
  • Training requirements (licenses, programs or certificates) – Google Certification and AdTech experience a plus
  • Expert with Excel and commercial BI reporting environments
  • Experience with a shared services organization with ability to work across business units strongly recommended
  • Experience managing enterprise wide projects and major agency relationships
  • Experience and track record building media and marketing plans
  • Proven track record of managing budgets, maximizing dollars spent and demonstrating marketing ROI
  • SEO familiarity preferred
  • Global e-commerce experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Detail oriented, excellent organization and time management skills
  • Strong understanding of online and social media channels
  • Advance proficiency in Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
