Job Description

  • To fix and repair linen and uniforms.
  • To help in creating promotional uniforms and decoration.
  • To issue complete uniforms set for associates.
  • Liaise with the coordinator on the day to day needs of the floor team.
  • Handle efficiently any guest complaints or problems taking personal responsibility to rectify them.
  • Anticipate guest's needs through observation and offer prompt, efficient service either personally or through effective communication with other associates.
  • Personally ensure compliance with all relevant workplace Health & Safety and Occupational Health & Safety legislation, and related Four Points by Sheraton and Starwood Policies.
  • Undertake additional duties as requested by the Executive Housekeeper, Senior Supervisor.
  • To make sure that all the hotel uniforms are fixed and impeccable at all times.
  • To follow up with Laundry attendant on uniforms that required priority.
  • Responsible for fixing guest clothes by following his requirements.
  • Gives specific time frame to the guests for fixing the garments.
  • Helps the Laundry attendant in his daily duties or replaces him during Holidays or days off.
  • Keeps proper records of all uniforms issues in liaison with the linen room.
  • Schedules for the yearly budget the amount of uniforms that need to be replaced.
  • Makes proper usage of discarded linen by creating dusters or amenity bags.
  • Ensures to be present to every measurement and / or fitting session with outside tailoring company.
