I am the Director of the WHG Operations Support Team responsible for the Production & Maintenance support teams, and the Network Operations Center in Phoenix. I currently manage 91 people in this group. I am a 6yr Air Force veteran, serving from 1976-1982 and in the latter three years I finally received a coveted posting to the Air Force Weapons Laboratory in Albuquerque, NM as a Computer Operator, where I rose to the rank of Sergeant. There I managed a huge data center where they tested simulations of new weapons systems. That experience solidified my love for technology. I just had to know how those systems worked! After leaving the military I furthered my education by attending the Albuquerque Technical-Vocational Institute and received a diploma in Digital Electronics. It is my military career and the management training I received as a non-commissioned officer that I attribute to my success, and the reason I have rose to a management position in virtually every civilian job I have held in my 35+yrs in Information Technology industry. Technology has been my entire adult life and I have loved every minute of it. It makes a job so much easier when you love what you do especially for a company like Wyndham that really cares about its people.
